Biography

Clifford Young, RPh, BCGP, FCPhA, FAWM is an Associate Clinical Professor and Regional Coordinator at the University of the Pacific, where he has been a part of the faculty since 2009. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science from the University of California, Davis in 1984 and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Practice from the University of Washington in 1987. As a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist and Consultant Pharmacist for Apothecary Service, LLC, he specializes in medication regimen review and education on medication device administration. Young is dedicated to preparing students for real-world pharmacy practice, emphasizing the development of presentation skills, clinical knowledge, and leadership abilities. He is an active member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP), where he has served on several committees and as President of his local chapter, as well as a director on ASCP's Board from 2009 to 2013 and the California Pharmacists Association Board starting in 2014. In addition to his professional commitments, he enjoys martial arts, riding motorcycles, and watching Oakland Athletics baseball games. Young resides in Fresno with his wife and daughter.
