Biography

Maryam Roshanaei is an Assistant Professor at Penn State Abington, specializing in Information Technology and Cybersecurity Analytics Operations. She obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Networks from Kingston University, England. Prior to joining Penn State, she served as an Associate Professor at the University of Greenwich, England from 2009 to 2014. Her experience also includes roles as a Visiting Professor at the University Politechnica Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain from 2009 to 2011, and as an Assistant Professor at Lawrence Technological University in Michigan, USA from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, she worked as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster in England from 2004 to 2006. Roshanaei has led various courses related to Information Security, Risk Analysis, and Project Management. Her research interests encompass Future Networks, Cybersecurity, Offensive Security, Computer Forensics, Mobile and Cloud Computing, and the Internet of Things. Achievements include recognition for her research contributions through various awards and fellowships at Penn State Abington and previously at Lawrence Technological University.
