Biography

Born in an inner-city neighborhood of North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Robert Spencer overcame racial discrimination and financial hardships, culminating in the attainment of multiple Master’s Degrees by age 26. Originally teaching African-American Studies, Spencer transitioned to computer technology and earned eleven international certifications from prestigious organizations such as CompTIA, Microsoft, and Cisco. Throughout his career, he has worked with corporations, small businesses, and non-profit organizations, creating classes and training programs for high schools, colleges, and universities. He has held significant positions including Director of Technology, Department Head of Computer Information Systems, and Coordinator of Computer Technology across various institutions. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor of Information Technology at Pennsylvania State Abington University, and is also an Adjunct Professor at other educational institutions while running his own Technology Multimedia consulting business, providing services to small-to-medium educational facilities and corporate businesses.
