Daphne Koinis-Mitchell is a Professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She serves as Vice Chair of Research in the Department of Pediatrics and leads the Pediatric Health Disparities Research Program at Hasbro Children's Hospital. Her research focuses on identifying multi-level factors that contribute to health disparities in urban children, particularly in areas such as asthma, sleep health, and obesity. With a commitment to integrating biological, behavioral, and clinical approaches, she aims to develop personalized treatment strategies that improve health outcomes for high-risk children.
