Biography

Susanne G. Barnett, PharmD, BCPS, is an Associate Professor at the School of Pharmacy at the University of Wisconsin, where she has been a faculty member since 2008. Dr. Barnett serves as the Director of Interprofessional Education and is actively involved in various committees that enhance educational programs in pharmacy. She obtained her PharmD from the University of Wisconsin in 2004 and completed a PGY-1 residency with Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee. Throughout her career, she has focused on improving clinical practices through quality improvement processes, particularly in the realm of antimicrobial stewardship. Her notable achievements include receiving the Rufus Lyman Award in July 2017 for her publication in the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education and serving as a member of the Editorial Advisory Association for Federal Practitioner. Dr. Barnett actively engages in teaching and has coordinated numerous courses related to interprofessional collaboration and infectious diseases.
