Mary S Hayney is a Professor at the University of Wisconsin's School of Pharmacy, where she has been since 1997. She holds a PharmD and an MPH and is a Fellow of the University of Wisconsin Teaching Academy. Her research focuses on the management of immunosuppression, particularly in lung transplant patients, and how it affects vaccine responses. Her lab conducts studies examining vaccine efficacy in immunosuppressed populations, which is crucial for understanding protective effects and host responses to vaccination.
