Bryan Seegmiller is an Assistant Professor in Finance at the Kellogg School of Management. He joined Kellogg in July 2022 after completing his Ph.D. in Financial Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research interests include Labor Finance, Technological Innovation, and Asset Pricing. Bryan's current projects explore the effects of labor market power on firms’ profitability and labor shares, how new technologies influence the tasks performed by workers and the risks they face in the labor market, as well as the impact of artificial intelligence on labor demand. He has contributed to significant publications in reputable journals, examining how economic factors intertwine with technological advancements in labor markets and financial systems.
