Biography

Maryam Darvish is an Associate Professor in the Department of Operations and Decision Systems at Laval University. She earned her PhD in Administration, Operations Decision Systems from Laval University and holds an MBA from the University of Applied Sciences for Engineering and Economics. Her research interests focus on Operations Research, including supply chain management, mathematical optimization, and logistics. She is actively engaged in improving food systems and urban mobility through data-driven optimization methods and modeling approaches. Darvish collaborates with multiple industry partners and has participated as a researcher in various significant projects aimed at adapting value chains to environmental and economic disruptions. She plays a critical role in conference organization and has contributed to academic peer reviews, emphasizing her prominence in the operational research community.
