Biography

Franklin Djeumou Fomeni is an Affiliate Professor at Université Laval in the Department of Operations and Decision Systems. He earned his Doctorate in Management Science from Lancaster University, complemented by a Master of Science in Computational Applied Mathematics from the University of the Witwatersrand. Additionally, he has a Master's degree in Pure Applied Mathematics from Université de Yaoundé and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from the same institution. His academic contributions include serving on various evaluation committees, co-supervising PhD and Master's students, and acting as an external examiner for theses at the University of Botswana. He has also held editorial responsibilities, including guest editing for Mathematical Programming: Part B. Fomeni has won multiple awards for his academic achievements, including the Kingsman Prize from Lancaster University and the Rand Merchant Bank Gold Medal for Computational Applied Mathematics. His research interests lie in operations decision systems and management science, with a focus on mathematical programming.
