John W. Megson is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Purdue University, specializing in Political Science. He earned his Ph.D. from Purdue University in December 2021. His research interests focus on the strength of partisan attachment, the role of neutral states in the spread of conflict, and related political dynamics. He has taught courses on the American Political System, Elections, Congress, and the Presidency at both Purdue University and Millikin University in Illinois. John is originally from York, UK, and is a passionate supporter of the Yorkshire County Cricket Club and York City FC, often sharing his thoughts on the (mis)fortunes of his beloved teams.
