Biography

Danuta de Grosbois is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography and Tourism Studies at Brock University. Her research focuses on understanding corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable tourism management, specifically how companies can effectively measure and report their CSR performance within the tourism industry. She explores the public's expectations of businesses regarding their responsibilities and seeks to find effective ways to evaluate and enhance corporate responsibility efforts. Danuta teaches courses such as Strategic Management in Tourism, Operations Management in Tourism, and Managerial Decision Making in Tourism. Her work aims to contribute to improved practices within the tourism sector, emphasizing the integration of sustainability in business operations.
