Biography

Nasrin Yousefi is an Assistant Professor in Management Analytics at the Smith School of Business, Queen's University. She completed her PhD in Operations Research from the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto in 2022. Her research focuses on data-driven optimization, decision-making under uncertainty, and applications in healthcare operations management. Prior to her current role, she served as a teaching assistant at both the University of Toronto and Koc University in Istanbul. Nasrin has published several papers related to optimization techniques in healthcare, including topics like clinical pathway concordance and hierarchical network optimization for cancer treatment. She has also presented her work at various conferences, demonstrating her commitment to advancing the field of healthcare analytics through innovative research and collaboration. In addition to her academic duties, she is actively involved in service roles within professional organizations, including the Canadian Operational Research Society and the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences.
