Biography

Matthew Telford Vidal is a lecturer at Columbia Law School, focusing on transactional regulatory law. He earned his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, where he developed a strong foundation in legal principles and practices specific to transactional regulation. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University, where he majored in Philosophy and minored in Spanish Language and Literature. Matthew is passionate about returning to his alma mater to educate and share his expertise with the next generation of legal professionals. He has been involved in teaching the course L8101 Ex. In-House Counsel, which emphasizes the practical skills and knowledge needed for effective counsel within corporate in-house settings. His academics coupled with real-world experience enable him to provide valuable insights to his students in the areas of law and ethics related to business and governance.
