Biography

Kathleen Ossip is a notable lecturer in Creative Writing, affiliated with the Lewis Center for the Arts at Princeton University. Her literary work includes the recently published book of poems titled 'July' released in June 2021, alongside other significant works such as 'Do-Over', selected as New York Editors' Choice, and 'Cold War', which was recognized by Publishers Weekly in 2011. Her poetry has been featured in prestigious publications including the Washington Post, American Poetry Review, and the New York Review of Books. Ossip's contributions to literature have garnered her the Honickman Book Prize for 'Search Engine', and she has also published a chapbook titled 'Cinephrastics' that encompasses movie-themed poems. In addition, she received a fellowship from the New York Foundation for the Arts and was a fellow at the Harvard Radcliffe Institute.
