Biography

Dr. Jeffry R. Shaefer is an Assistant Professor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine focusing on Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. He serves as the director of the Orofacial Pain Clinic, where he practices general dentistry and manages conditions related to facial pain, temporomandibular disorders, and sleep apnea. Dr. Shaefer has a robust teaching portfolio, instructing students in pain and anxiety management, emergency medicine for dentists, and a postgraduate Pharmacology course. His professional credentials include board certification in general dentistry and orofacial pain, and he is a diplomat of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain.
