Biography

Howard Leib is an intellectual property and entertainment attorney based in New York City and Ithaca, NY. He offers a full range of legal services, specializing in entertainment law, corporate law, trademark and copyright law, and litigation. Over the years, he has worked with high-profile artists such as Whitney Houston, B.B. King, and Kiss, and corporate clients including MCA, BMG, and 20th Century Fox. Leib has served as a consultant for several companies in the entertainment industry, helping them navigate the children's entertainment market. Additionally, he has been involved in the New York State Bar Association's Entertainment Sports Law Section and has taught Entertainment Law at New York University and other educational institutions. In 1997, he founded the BrainCamp conference, which became a prominent event for leaders in children's entertainment for thirteen years. He has produced notable works in the comedy and entertainment fields, including a Grammy-nominated comedy CD and various articles related to entertainment law.
