Biography

Dr. Jeremy Kukafka is a Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. He specializes in anesthesiology and has been actively involved in clinical practice since 2008. Dr. Kukafka has extensive training and experience, having completed his medical schooling at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, and his residency in anesthesiology at Pennsylvania Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania Health System, where he also completed his fellowship. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Pennsylvania Society of Anesthesiologists, and the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists. His expertise and commitment to patient care make him a valuable member of the Penn Medicine team, known for accepting and treating adult patients in anesthesiology and critical care. Furthermore, Dr. Kukafka serves as the Director of the Clerkship in Anesthesiology, mentoring medical students in their transition to clinical practice.
