I am a physician scientist who focuses on improving patient outcomes through outstanding patient care and research in the perioperative and pain medicine arena. My work involves opioid receptor pharmacology, and my team has developed multiple novel technologies addressing issues related to opioids. We are currently developing a compound for stroke rescue and have also devised novel strategies to raise stroke awareness in non-English speaking populations, especially those from low-middle-income countries.
