Chadi Aoun is a Teaching Professor in Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon University Qatar, where he has made significant contributions to the academic community. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of New South Wales and has a rich background in business, education, and environmental science. Chadi has had an extensive academic career, including positions at the University of Technology Sydney, Macquarie University, and the University of Sydney, as well as visiting appointments at universities in the UK and Thailand. Over the years, he has taught approximately 20,000 students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, specializing in the fields of information systems, management, and research methodologies. In recognition of his excellence in teaching, he received an innovative teaching and curriculum development award in 2010. Chadi is an active member of the Australian Computer Society and the Association for Information Systems, where he held the position of president for SIGGreen. His contributions to education and research methodologies have made him a respected figure in his field.
