Rabbi Eli Silberstein is the founder and director of the Roitman Chabad Center, established in 1984. From 1996 to 2006, he co-taught a course with Professor Jeremy Rabkin in the government department at Cornell's School of Arts and Sciences, entitled "Legal Reasoning: Comparative Study of Talmudic Law and American Law." Rabbi Silberstein subsequently developed a series of courses for the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute, which are syndicated to 200 rabbis worldwide. These courses include Judge, Judge II, Biblical Reflections, and Talmudic Ethics. He provided methodological training for instructors of these courses and participated in several Continuing Legal Education panels, comparing approaches between American law and Talmudic law. Rabbi Silberstein is also the developer and trainer of the course "Wisdom Sinai," an introductory course about Judaism that is syndicated to 100 Chabad campus centers.
