Biography

Diogo Almeida specializes in psycho-neurolinguistics with a primary research focus on language processing and perceptual processes. His work relies on a wide array of methodologies, including cross-linguistic studies and behavioral brain imaging methods such as MEG, EEG, and fMRI. Before joining NYU Abu Dhabi, he was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of California, Irvine, and an assistant professor at Michigan State University. His research interests lie in understanding the intricate connections between language and the mind/brain, making significant contributions to the field of cognitive science.
