Biography

Xintong Han is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing at Université Laval. He holds a Doctorate in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics and has extensive experience in research focusing on sales marketing, industry economics, and industrial organization. His recent projects include investigating the impact of content specialization on public engagement on knowledge-sharing platforms and evaluating marketing strategies for non-profit e-commerce platforms initiated by the government. Xintong has served as a referee for several academic journals and has been involved in various academic committees, demonstrating his commitment to the advancement of his discipline. He has also supervised PhD students in Economics and has contributed to the academic community by appraising research proposals for the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. His research interests encompass digital revitalization, online education during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the effectiveness of user engagement strategies in e-commerce.
