Biography

Dr. Meredith L. Turetz is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. She completed her M.D. at Weill Cornell Medical College in 1994, following a B.S. from Cornell University in 1993. Her post-doctoral training includes an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital and a fellowship in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine. Throughout her career, Dr. Turetz has focused on improving clinical education and patient care in critical care settings. She has authored several articles related to respiratory illnesses and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on critical care training. Her significant contributions include studies on acute respiratory distress syndrome, management of tuberculosis, and the effects of toxic inhalation exposure. Dr. Turetz is dedicated to interdisciplinary approaches in medical education and advancing knowledge in pulmonary medicine.
