Biography

Aaron Cote received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Washington in 2002 and completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2010 under the supervision of advisor Adam Meyerson. His dissertation focused on Energy-Efficient Online Algorithms. Since August 2010, he has been serving as an Associate Professor in the Thomas Lord Department of Computer Science at the University of Southern California. Cote's research primarily involves energy-efficient mobile data transport and online multi-network packet scheduling, as evidenced by his contributions to the International Green Computing Conference (IGCC) in 2010. He has also co-authored works on randomized K-server hierarchical binary trees, presented at the ACM Symposium on Theory of Computing (STOC) in 2008.
