Aaron Fisk is a Professor at the Great Lakes Institute for Environmental Research, University of Windsor, where he has held his position since 2007. He holds a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Trophic Ecology. His research interests primarily focus on the mechanisms that drive the structure and function of trophic interactions within food webs. This includes utilizing a combination of chemical tracers such as stable isotopes and fatty acids along with acoustic and satellite tagging technology to quantify habitat use, diet, and movement of fish and marine mammals in diverse ecosystems including the Great Lakes and Arctic marine environments. Fisk has previously served as an Associate Professor at the Daniel B. Warnell School of Forest Resources, University of Georgia, and has held positions as an Assistant Professor and Research Scientist. He earned his Ph.D. in Soil Science from the University of Manitoba and holds both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Biology from the University of Windsor.
