Biography

Aaron Lindenberg is a faculty member at Stanford University and leads the Lindenberg Ultrafast Group. His research efforts focus on taking atomic-scale movies of materials and devices in motion, capturing real-time snapshots of atomic and electronic motion to understand the functionality of materials and devices. His work involves understanding the fundamental limits and microscopic mechanisms that determine device performance in applications such as energy conversion, energy storage, and information processing. He is affiliated with the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory and is a part of the PULSE Institute for Ultrafast Energy Science at Stanford, as well as the Stanford Institute for Materials and Energy Research (SIMES). Additionally, he contributes to the Center for Non-Perturbative Studies of Functional Materials under Non-Equilibrium Conditions (NPNEQ) and the National Quantum Information Science (QIS) Research Center.
