Biography

Aaron Orkin is an emergency, family, and public health physician and an Associate Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. He serves as the Director of Population Health at Inner City Health Associates in Toronto and practices emergency medicine at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. His work explores the intersection of public health and clinical medicine, with an emphasis on health systems design and health equity. He studied medicine at McMaster University and completed postgraduate training in Family Medicine at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and in Public Health & Preventive Medicine at the University of Toronto. He holds graduate degrees in the history and philosophy of medicine from the University of Oxford and in Public Health and Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Toronto.
