Dr. Aaron Salyapongse

Biography

Aaron Keith Salyapongse is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstructive orthopedic surgery. He serves as Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine and holds the position of medical director for Interventional Services and Joint Replacement at Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley. With extensive experience in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the hip and knee, including meniscus tears, arthritis, and avascular necrosis, Dr. Salyapongse performs a full range of orthopedic surgery procedures. Each year, he conducts hundreds of knee and hip replacements, carefully tailoring treatment plans to meet individual patient needs. He emphasizes tissue-sparing techniques and is recognized as a certified instructor for anterior hip replacement, a technique he has taught to surgeons across the nation. Dr. Salyapongse has co-authored numerous articles on joint replacement surgery and has presented his work at major orthopedic surgery meetings.
