Biography

Aaron Schneider is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Writing Studies at Western University. He specializes in experimental prose and creative writing, with a specific focus on hybrid forms and regionalism. His research explores the connections between creative writing, artistic production, and regional history, especially in relation to London, Southwestern Ontario. Schneider has published three books, including the novella 'Grass-Fed' (Quatro Books, 2018), the collection 'Think Know' (Gordon Hill, 2021), and the novel 'Supply Chain' (Crowsnest Books, 2023). He is currently working on a collection of experimental short stories titled 'Death Drawings' and a novel examining climate change through multiple interconnected realities. In addition to his writing, he serves as a publisher for the literary journal 'The Temz Review' and the chapbook press '845 Press', as well as the 'Occasus Literary Journal'. He teaches various courses on presentation, public speaking, professional science writing, and creative writing at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and is dedicated to supervising creative writing theses across diverse genres.
