Biography

Aayushi Rai, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and an Attending Radiologist at the Boston Veteran Affairs Hospital. Her research interests include optimizing imaging protocols and understanding disease mechanisms, evidenced by publications in leading journals such as Radiology and the Journal of Breast Imaging. Dr. Rai is an accomplished educator, delivering lectures to medical students and residents. She is an active member of the Radiological Society of North America and serves on the editorial board of Radiation Science Technology Journal. Her honors include the Ewa Kuligowska, MD Award for outstanding performance in radiology and the ACR-AUR Research Scholar award.
