Biography

Aban Ansari-Önnestam is a PhD student at Linköping University focusing on optimization and intelligent decision-making. He is part of the Mathematics algorithms research group and works under the supervision of Anders Forsgren at KTH and Elina Rönnberg at LiU. His research interests include mathematical analysis, linear algebra, and method development in continuous optimization. Specifically, he aims to contribute to the field of mathematical optimization theory by developing new techniques that leverage machine learning. His position is funded through the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems Software Program (WASP), and he is also a member of the WASP Graduate School.
