Biography

Abbe R. Gluck is the Alfred M. Rankin Professor of Law and the founding Faculty Director of the Solomon Center for Health Law and Policy at Yale Law School. She is also a Professor of Internal Medicine at Yale School of Medicine and a member of the faculty of the Department of Social Policy Studies at Yale. Abbe served as the lead lawyer for the Biden Administration's COVID-19 Response and was a special counsel in the White House Counsel's Office, focusing on health care issues including the Affordable Care Act. She previously taught at Columbia Law School and has extensive experience in health law, political processes, and civil litigation. Abbe has worked in various capacities in government, including roles with the New Jersey Governor and New York City Mayor.
