Dr. Abby Wild

Biography

Abby Wild has a diverse career in research consulting that spans the UK, Singapore, and Australia. She has conducted research, program evaluations, and communications work across a range of projects and clients. Abby uses both quantitative and qualitative methods and has extensive experience in surveys, interviews, and facilitating focus groups. She holds an undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Harvard University and an M.Phil. in Criminological Research from the University of Cambridge. Currently, she is completing her PhD, focusing on the study of residential therapeutic programs in prisons and analyzing the key elements that foster positive social environments. Her research emphasizes the importance of understanding 'what works' in reducing reoffending rates. Additionally, Abby has collaborated on interdisciplinary studies regarding the impact of 'green' design in prisons. Before joining BehaviourWorks Australia, she held several teaching, research, and consulting roles, including positions at Cambridge University and Harvard’s Cognitive Evolution Lab. Abby has also worked as a consultant for various projects aimed at enhancing social inclusion and health initiatives.
