Biography

Abdelrahman Alsherbini, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in pediatric neurology with a focus on pediatric epilepsy syndromes. He earned his medical degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, and furthered his education in the United States through a postdoctoral research fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital and a clinical fellowship in epilepsy at Texas Children’s Hospital. His clinical interests include self-limited focal epilepsies, generalized epilepsies, and developmental and/or epileptic encephalopathies. He is also passionate about medical education, providing tailored, case-based educational sessions to medical students and residents.
