Abhishek Chakrabortty is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at Texas A&M University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Biostatistics from Harvard University, and both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute. Prior to joining Texas A&M University, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Statistics at the University of Pennsylvania. His methodological research broadly focuses on robust and efficient statistical inference for high-dimensional and/or incomplete observational data. His main research interests include statistical learning in semi-supervised settings, high-dimensional statistical inference, causal inference methods for missing data, integration with transfer learning, Bayesian semi-parametric inference, and applications involving the analysis of large-scale data in modern biomedical studies. His work is currently funded by the National Science Foundation, and he is a recipient of the Texas A&M Institute of Data Science (TAMIDS) Career Initiation Fellow Award. Additionally, he has received the Department of Statistics Teaching Excellence Award and currently serves as an Associate Editor for Statistics and Probability Letters.
