Biography

Abigail Jiyoung Choi is an academic advisor at the School of Music, Theatre & Dance at the University of Michigan, where she supports undergraduate and non-Rackham graduate students across various disciplines including Music, Theatre, Musical Theatre, and Dance. She has a passion for building relationships with students and approaches advising from a compassionate and inclusive perspective. Abigail is an active member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advising Practice (DEIAP) Committee and Advising Council at the University of Michigan. Prior to joining the School of Music, Theatre & Dance, she provided support to musicians, teaching artists, and students in performing arts organizations such as Music@Menlo, Mainly Mozart, San Diego Symphony, and Segerstrom Center for the Arts. She is an alumna of the School of Music, Theatre & Dance.
