Biography

Abigail Donaldson is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and a Clinician Educator at Brown University. She specializes in Adolescent Medicine and serves as the Medical Director of the Hasbro Eating Disorder Program. Her areas of expertise include general adolescent health, eating disorders, sexual health, and substance abuse. Dr. Donaldson actively participates in the care of hospitalized adolescents with eating disorders and in outpatient clinics focused on general adolescent medicine and eating disorders. She has been a co-investigator on funded research initiatives including a National Chlamydia Coalition Mini-Grant and a Community Partnership Grant from the Urban Health Institute at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. In addition to her clinical and research responsibilities, Dr. Donaldson is involved in the clinical education of resident medical students, covering a range of topics such as well adolescent care, sexual health, contraception, physical education, nutrition, and related subjects.
