Biography

Abiodun Isiaka is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting at the University of Regina. She holds a PhD in Management with a focus on Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University, where she graduated in 2018. Abiodun is a CPA and has been recognized as a Certified Professional Accountant in Ontario since 2014. With a background in economics, she earned her MA from the State University of New York-Buffalo in 2012 and has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston-Victoria, completed in 2010. Her undergraduate studies were conducted at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, where she received a Bachelor of Science with Honours in 1994. Her research interests include financial reporting disclosure, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability, allowing her to contribute valuable insights to the academic and professional community. Abiodun is also involved as a CPA Research Scholar and serves as an ICBC Coach in accounting, where she actively supports students in their academic and professional development.
