His research addresses peri-prosthetic joint infection (PJI) as a significant complication in joint replacements, collaborating with leading experts to enhance diagnosis and management. He also investigates methods to improve surgical outcomes in unicompartmental knee arthroplasty and develops simulation-based training methods for teaching and assessing surgical skills.
