Biography

Dr. Adam Garber is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa. He received his medical degree from Western University in 2010 and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa in 2015. Dr. Garber also completed a Senior Fellowship in Simulation Based Medical Education from the Department of Innovation in Medical Education in 2016, and earned a master’s degree in Health Professions Education from McMaster University in 2017. His clinical practice includes obstetrical care and minimally invasive gynecologic surgical care. Dr. Garber serves as the Associate Program Director and the Simulation Fellowship Program Director in his department, and he is the chair of the Competence Committee. He is a faculty member of the uOttawa Skills and Simulation Centre. His academic interests focus on innovative simulation techniques, team training, and enhancing patient experiences.
