Biography

Adam M. Kaye earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Pacific in 1995. He was influenced to pursue a career in pharmacy by watching his mother deal with chronic pain and health issues. His career was also shaped by his older brother, who is an anesthesiologist. Kaye values the close teacher-student interactions at the University of the Pacific and the accessibility of faculty to students. He is dedicated to preparing students to be competent, confident, and inquisitive regarding patients' medications. His teaching focuses on pharmacology and therapeutics, aiming to cultivate practice-ready professionals. Kaye was born in New York but has lived in various places including Los Angeles, Arizona, and now Stockton, where he appreciates the small-town environment that facilitates meeting new people. Outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and has interests in basketball and tennis.
