Professor Dr. Adam Maloof

Biography

Adam Maloof is a Professor in the Department of Geosciences at Princeton University, where he has served since July 2006, first as an assistant professor and later promoted to associate professor in January 2012. His research primarily focuses on Earth's history through original field observations and scale maps, employing techniques that include examining rock outcrops and thin sections. His current research group investigates sedimentary volcanic rocks to extract information about the ancient magnetic field, relative motion of continents, global carbon cycle perturbations, and the coevolution of life and climate.
