Biography

Adam Navarro is an award-winning actor, author, and professor known for his work in speech coaching. With a career spanning decades, he has inspired thousands through his passion and transformational guidance in communication. Growing up in Guam, Navarro's early experiences included surfing and exploring the jungle. A pivotal moment in his life occurred when he moved to California to live with his educator grandparents. Enrolling in a public speaking class, his professor encouraged him to join the speech team, leading to competitive success and a national championship in oral interpretation. An accomplished actor, he earned a scholarship for an MFA in theater arts and received multiple Irene Ryan acting scholarships. With apprenticeships at the Williamstown Theater Festival and fellowship at the Shakespeare Theatre company, Navarro's stage work has included leading roles in various plays and films. As a working scholar and activist, he utilizes his privilege to assist individuals from similar backgrounds, including minorities and first-generation university students. He has contributed to building successful speech teams and is dedicated to empowering his students at USC to achieve professional success.
