Biography

Adam Nicholson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Nicholson completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Michigan, where he served as Chief Resident. He also completed the Graduate Medical Education Scholars Program and the Health Care Administration Scholars Program at Michigan. His professional interests focus on medical student and resident education, mentorship, and simulation to enhance clinical teaching. In addition to his academic role, he is the Medical Director for Patient Safety and the Quality Chair for the Peer Review Committee. Outside of work, Nicholson enjoys activities such as running and biking and spends quality time with his wife and children.
