Biography

Adam Parrott-Sheffer is an adjunct faculty member at the Harvard Graduate School of Education where he serves as a strategy advisor with Harvard’s Data Wise Project. He is co-chair of the Data Wise Action System and has experience as an award-winning special education teacher, principal, and district administrator. His expertise lies in working with early childhood multilingual learners across various educational settings, including neighborhood, charter, and independent schools for decades. Parrott-Sheffer currently collaborates with school system leaders globally, focusing on improving learning through data and designing leadership pathways with special attention to entry and the successful execution of strategic initiatives. He is a co-author of the books "Entry Planning for Equity Focused Leaders: Empowering Schools and Communities" (2022) and "System Wise: Continuous Improvement at Scale" (2024), both published by Harvard Education Press. His academic background includes a B.S. from the University of Illinois-Urbana, an M.S.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania, and both an M.S. and Ed.L.D. from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
