Biography

Adam Perry grew up in Canada and studied economics and law. He came to Oxford in 2006 for his Bachelor of Civil Law and subsequently completed the MPhil and DPhil degrees. He has held academic positions at the European University Institute, University of Aberdeen, and Queen Mary University of London before returning to Oxford to take his current position in 2015. He writes and teaches in the areas of administrative law, constitutional law, and the philosophy of law. He is the Articles Editor for the Oxford Journal of Legal Studies. His forthcoming monograph is titled 'Conventional Constitution' and will be published by Oxford University Press in 2025. Perry has also published peer-reviewed articles on various topics, including judicial review, precedent fairness, and constitutional conventions, in leading journals such as the Modern Law Review and Cambridge Law Journal.
