Dr. Adam Power

Biography

Adam Power is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at Dalhousie University. He completed his Medical Degree at Dalhousie University and underwent General Surgery Residency at McMaster University. After finishing residency, he completed a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Mayo Clinic. He also holds a Master's in Bio-Science Enterprise from the University of Cambridge. Dr. Power has had a distinguished career including roles such as Program Director for the Vascular Surgery Residency Program and the McLachlan Chair in Postgraduate Education. He has established himself as a Canadian expert in complex venous diseases through multiple industry grants, publications, and presentations, including contributions to book chapters. His research interests focus on innovation in medical device development. Dr. Power is also the co-founder and Chief Medical Officer at Front Line Medical Technologies, a company dedicated to developing innovative medical devices to help critical patients.
