Biography

Adam Sanborn is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Warwick. He earned his PhD in Psychological and Brain Sciences with a focus on Cognitive Science from Indiana University, where he studied from 2001 to 2007. Following his doctoral studies, he completed postdoctoral work at the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit at University College London from 2007 to 2010. His research interests are primarily centered around rationality in human behavior, employing Bayesian models and conducting behavioral experiments. Sanborn's work has been published in leading psychology journals, including Psychological Review and Trends in Cognitive Sciences, and has received various awards for his papers in psychology and computer science. His research has been funded by prominent organizations such as the Economic and Social Research Council, the European Research Council, and the Alan Turing Institute.
