Dr. Adam Siade

Biography

Adam Siade is an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia. His academic background includes a Ph.D. in Civil Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, completed in 2012, and a Master's in the same field from UCLA in 2007. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Environmental Resources Engineering at Humboldt State University in 2006. His primary research focus is on groundwater modeling, where he has developed regional groundwater flow and transport models for areas in Southern California and Western Australia. His collaborative efforts aim to enhance the understanding and management of hydrogeological systems, particularly under uncertainty. Siade has been involved in multiple projects that investigate groundwater resource management and predictive modeling. He emphasizes the importance of integrating uncertainty quantification in decision-making processes related to water management, particularly for critical resources in regions like Perth. His contributions extend to various methodologies in environmental research, including model calibration and optimization, underscoring his engagement with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
