Biography

Adam N. Stulberg is the Sam Nunn School Chair Professor at the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at Georgia Institute of Technology. He teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses focusing on international security, Russia and Eurasian politics, nuclear nonproliferation, and energy security. His current research centers on contemporary great power competition, the geopolitics of oil and gas networks, and the dilemmas surrounding energy security in Eurasia, alongside other strategic stability issues. Dr. Stulberg earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds both an M.A. in International Affairs from Columbia University and an M.A. in Political Science from UCLA, as well as a B.A. in History from the University of Michigan. He has extensive experience as a political consultant and has worked with the RAND Corporation, the Center for Nonproliferation Studies, and the Carnegie Corporation, among others. Over the years, he has authored and edited multiple books and contributed to various leading academic and policy journals. A recognized educator, he has received several teaching awards and honors, including the Ivan Allen Jr. Legacy Faculty Award for his commitment to scholarship and student service.
